Matt Maynard to replace retiring Placer County Assessor Kristen Spears

Longtime Placer County Assessor’s Office manager Matthew Maynard will replace retiring Assessor Kristen Spears in January following his unanimous appointment this week by our Board of Supervisors. Learn more


Tentative map for supervisorial districts approved

At its Nov. 30 meeting, our Board of Supervisors supported a new supervisorial district map to reflect population growth as per 2020 Census data. The board voted 3-2 to tentatively approve map Alternative A, which was drawn by county staff based on input received over the preceding months of community meetings and public comments. Learn more


Animal Services celebrates five years at new facility with $5 adoptions

Animal Services moved to its new Auburn facility in 2016 and has proudly served 12,410 pets since then. The center’s increased capacity allows our Animal Services team to house approximately 80% more dogs and 75% more cats than its previous facility. The center is now offering $5 adoptions during December to celebrate its anniversary! Learn more

To preserve critical infrastructure that serves all, including hospitals, on Aug. 25, Placer County Public Health issued a warning advising residents regardless of vaccination status to use high-quality masks in indoor public settings to protect against the Delta variant.

The Fiddyment Farm Neighborhood Association is NOT an HOA and there are no fees or dues. We are here to:
•    To provide an open forum through which all members of the neighborhoods can participate in the identity, social culture, growth, development, and activities of the neighborhoods.
•    To identify and communicate the issues and concerns of the Association members to the Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations, the City of Roseville, and other appropriate entities.
•    To keep all members of the neighborhoods informed regarding issues vital, or of interest, to the well-being of the neighborhoods.
•    To encourage and facilitate communication and cohesiveness among all the people of the neighborhoods. To act in cooperation with government and non-government agencies to preserve and improve peace, safety and property values in the neighborhoods.
