Here is some more information and a link to the project site website...

"My name is Winder Bajwa. I’m the Project Manager for the work you mentioned below, Riego Road Interchange Project at Highway 99 in Sutter County.

The project will take two construction seasons to complete. We began work this Spring and hope to complete the project by end of next Summer. We have a very good contractor working for us so that will help speed up the construction.

The work entails constructing an overpass at highway 99 including on and off ramps. The contractor has been performing stage 1 work, which includes excavating irrigation ditches, farm access roads and detour road so that work can began on the overpass bridge and the ramps. The bridge work should start this month.

This is a relatively large project and it requires bigger machinery to move large amount of dirt. Also, we are bring material from offsite with heavy trucks. This work will continue this summer and next.

I ask that you and your neighbors use caution when entering the construction zone. Please be alert for the construction equipment coming in and out of the construction areas.
