Woodcreek Oaks Widening Project

WoodcreekOaksBoulevard_webheader.png

Construction July through October 2017

Construction is scheduled July through October to widen Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard into the median, from Horncastle Avenue to just north of Pleasant Grove Boulevard. In spring 2018, widening will occur between Horncastle Avenue and Crimson Ridge Way. Median trees are being protected to the greatest extent possible, and the project will result in a net increase of 22 trees throughout the corridor.

Typical working hours are weekdays, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Limited duration night work may occur. Monitor electronic message signs for current information. Traffic lanes throughout the corridor will be narrowed and delays may be experienced. Sidewalk improvements may require temporary pedestrian detours. Please travel with caution through the work zone.

Love the fact the city improved this area. Not sure if you have driven in this new section recently but whoever the city hired to repave the area did a horrible job. The current road condition is worse now after the project then before. Hopefully the city has plans to correct the issue. Personally I avoid this stretch of road due to its current condition.
