Dumping in Our Neighborhood

Sadly on two separate occasions we have had to notify the city code enforcement about dumping in our neighborhood. (Near the dead end of Blue Oaks and Hayden Parkway cross street). Especially sad when you realize the South Placer Waste Disposal Facility is less than 1/2 mile North on Fiddyment.

In one case it was a group of 4 furniture sectional pieces and in the other a refrigerator - with the door still intact.

The city sent people out to pick this trash but still we as a neighborhood need to watch for this sort of activity. Take license numbers if possible and report them to the police.

By the way... dumping a refrigerator with the door still intact is a criminal offense in California (PC 402b). If the person is caught and prosecuted they can also be charged with creating a Public Nuisance (PC 372) as well as Child Endangerment (PC 273(a)).

So please - if you see something - say something - call the Roseville police (916) 774-5000.
