Blue Oaks Bridge Construction

Steve Hicks from Signature Properties asked that we pass on this information concerning the Blue Oaks Bridge construction...

"Our bridge construction is moving along nicely -- the pouring of the concrete for the bridge deck is scheduled for this Friday, 6/24 (ahead of schedule).

Since the temperatures are finally getting back to normal, our bridge contractor has requested an early start of construction for Friday (6/24) morning (5:00 am). This early start is to allow for the bridge deck to be poured before the temperatures get too high. The cooler temperatures during the concrete pour of the concrete allows for minimization of cracks during the curing phase. The early construction will be limited to the concrete pour and associated activities.

Please call or email with any questions or comments that you might have – you can reach me at 789-2421. Steve Hicks"

Expect a some noise and many cement trucks.

Bridge completion is on-schedule for mid August, and open to traffic (Blue Oaks Boulevard done) by mid September, 2011.
