May 22, 2014 Odor Workshop Invitation
The Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA) invites you to community meeting on Thursday, May 22nd to discuss odors and other operational issues of importance to local residents. The meeting will take place at 7:00 PM at the WPWMA offices at 3033 Fiddyment Road located at the corner of Athens Avenue in Roseville.
The WPWMA is a joint powers authority comprised of Placer County and the cities of Lincoln, Rocklin and Roseville. The WPWMA owns and operates the landfill, materials recovery facility, and green waste composting facility in south Placer County.
Over the past three years, the WPWMA has conducted community meetings to engage residents in a dialogue regarding our operations and odor conditions in the Sunset Industrial Area. May’s meeting will include an update on our continuous odor monitoring system as well as an open forum to address resident questions and concerns.
