The Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA) is a joint powers authority comprised of Placer County and the cities of Lincoln, Rocklin and Roseville. The WPWMA owns and operates the landfill, materials recovery facility, and green waste composting facility in south Placer County. Over the last two years, the WPWMA has conducted community meetings to engage residents in a dialogue regarding facility operations and odor conditions in the Sunset Industrial Area.
The WPWMA invites you to community meeting on Wednesday, April 24th at 7:00 PM at the WPWMA offices at 3033 Fiddyment Road located at the corner of Athens Avenue in Roseville. The meeting will include updates on planned projects aimed at reducing facility odors as well as an open forum to address resident questions. Please visit wpwma.com for more information.
