Parts of West Placer County and West Park are scheduled for ground-based adulticide treatments due to West Nile virus positive mosquitoes and high adult mosquito counts.
An EPA-approved mosquito adulticide will be applied in an ultra-low volume fog by truck to target adult mosquitoes.
Since several factors, including weather conditions, affect treatment activities, the District encourages Placer residents to check the District website for any changes to the treatment schedule and accompanying maps of the planned treatment areas.
