This week, we're celebrating 20 years of protecting public health in Placer County and Mosquito Awareness Week. Each day of the week, we have a different exciting and virtual activity for you to watch, engage with and help us celebrate our commitment to Placer County and bring attention to mosquitoes and other vectors in the county.

What started as an operation out of a living room, turned into a trailer and now includes 22 employees dedicated to keeping Placer County residents safe from vectors and vector-borne disease.

Take this week to get to know us better, learn about vector and vector-borne disease risk that affects your community and do your part to protect public health in Placer County. Check out our annual report and office tour below and be sure to visit placermosquito.org/20years for more fun events this week.
