Message from the Mayor
On April 6, our Roseville community was shaken by the tragic shootings at Mahany Park.
On behalf of the City Council, I extend and offer deepest condolences and support to the victims, their families, all who witnessed this horrific incident, and those who responded.
The City Council and I would also like to acknowledge our deepest appreciation to our Police, Fire, and Parks, Recreation and Libraries staff, along with regional public-safety agencies, for their efforts onsite that day. Their swift response helped to deescalate and contain a more tragic outcome.
One of the City Council’s top priorities is a Safe and Healthy Community. We will continue to stand with you—our residents and businesses—to ensure we meet that goal each and every day.
—- Roseville Mayor Bruce Houdesheldt
