UP's famed 'Big Boy No. 4014' visiting Roseville July 12-13
Big Boy No. 4014, the world’s largest steam locomotive, will return to the rails this summer with a scenic tour across four western states: Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and California. The monthlong “Big Boy Westward Bound” tour, which starts June 30, will honor Union Pacific’s rich railroad legacy and celebrate the railroad’s employees and communities it serves.
Big Boy No. 4014 will be on display in Roseville July 12-13. More details about its time in Roseville will be available soon.

Overnight Baseline Road closure
Road work is temporarily closing Baseline between Fiddyment Road and Market Street on Tuesday, April 16 through Thursday, April 18 and Thursday, April 25. The work will occur overnight, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Pleasant Grove Boulevard Widening construction update
Watch for construction on the long-planned Pleasant Grove Boulevard Widening Project between Foothills and Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard.

Please slow down and travel with care. Bicyclists are encouraged to use the sidewalk or the nearby trail.
Traffic Signal and Roadway Improvements Project update

You may have seen the friendly faces of Roseville’s Bike/Walk Ambassadors out on Roseville trails. Keep an eye out for these volunteers providing trail safety, including emergency bike repairs, first aid and education.

Roseville City Council is currently accepting applications from citizens 18 or older residing within the City limits of Roseville to serve on the Board of Appeals.
The deadline to apply is 4 p.m., Friday, April 19. Appointments are
tentatively scheduled to be made at a May 2024 Council meeting.
