Most Roseville City offices are closed from December 25 through January 1, 2024.
Refuse service follows its regular daily pick-up schedule. The City remains staffed to provide safety and emergency services.
Administrative offices and public counters are closed.
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, Roseville Transit operates limited Commuter service. Local, Arrow, and ADA Paratransit services operate normally.
No Roseville Transit services on Christmas or New Year’s Day.

Special recreation swim hours
The weather might be chilly but the water at the Mike Shellito Indoor Pool is just right! Have fun and stay active this holiday break with our special recreation swim hours coming up on December 27, 29 and January 3, 5 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Dive in for a relaxing swim or tackle the inflatable obstacle course, all for just $7.
The pool is also open for rec swim on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m.
Water saving tips for the new year
Did you know that a running toilet can waste about 200 gallons of water per day? Be sure to check the house for leaks as you return your home to normal after the holidays. If you're hand washing the good china or silverware after your NYE party, fill one basin with soapy water and the other with rinse water.
And hopefully, Santa brought you a new WaterSense or ENERGYSTAR-labeled dishwasher or clothes washer this year!
Junction Crossing affordable apartments now leasing
The latest affordable housing community in Roseville is accepting applications for rental apartments. Junction Crossing is located at 120 Pacific Street in the Historic Old Town area.
80 brand new units, studios and 1 bedroom, will be opening in 2024 for very low-income households (30-50% of area median income) and low-income households (60-70% of are median income). The property is still an active construction site so tours are not yet available.
Grant applications are open now
Calling all non-profits! The City of Roseville is currently accepting grant applications for fiscal year 2024-25. The deadline to apply is Monday, February 5.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the January grant application workshop to learn more about the application process and requirements:

Upcoming construction of Dry Creek Greenway East: Phase 1
Construction of the first phase of Dry Creek Greenway East is anticipated to begin in the coming weeks.
The trail will be built between Riverside Avenue and Rocky Ridge Drive and provide an important transportation connection for schools, businesses, and residential neighborhoods.

Are your leaves piling up? Take advantage of Curbside Leaf Pickup, available through January 19.
Roseville's complimentary service helps prevent fallen front yard leaves from clogging storm drains and washing into our creeks.
New year, learn new gardening techniques
Want a stunning, water-saving garden? Interested in preparing your landscape for extreme weather and climate change? Join our Green Gardener at Home series starting on February 1, 2024. Local experts will share eco-friendly tips for healthy plants, soil management, efficient irrigation, and pest control.
Classes run on Thursdays from February 1 to March 30 (except February 22 and 29) from 6-8 p.m. at the Utility Exploration Center, 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd.

Utility Exploration Center closed for remodeling through Spring
The Roseville Utility Exploration Center (UEC) is undergoing a comprehensive transformation after years of fostering awareness about utility services and environmental responsibility among children, customers, and the community. As a result, the UEC will remain closed until spring 2024.
Hazard Mitigation Plan adopted
The Roseville City Council adopted the Hazard Mitigation Plan at the November 15, 2023 meeting.
The Hazard Mitigation Plan is an important part of the City of Roseville's preparedness strategy and helps maintain our city's status and benefits as a FEMA Class 1 community.
