The deadline for the public to submit draft City Council district maps passed December 6. Now is your chance to review and comment on the submitted maps. This will inform the Roseville Independent Redistricting Commission as it determines which maps will be part of final consideration.
See the submitted draft City Council district maps with population and demographic detail information.
Six public meetings will be held in January to get further public input on the final set of maps. The Independent Redistricting Commission is scheduled to make its final decision on the new City Council district boundaries during its January 24 meeting.

Staying comfortable while saving energy is important no matter the season. But with the holidays right around the corner, what better time than now to save energy and money.
Here are some simple, cool-weather conservation tips:
-
Keep vents open and air flowing. Closing doors and room vents puts extra strain on the central heating system.
-
Open drapes and shades on sunny days to let in heat from the sun; close them at night and on cloudy days.
-
And, set your thermostat to 68 degrees and lower it to 55 degrees at night or when you’re away from home. Remember that if you lower your thermostat by two degrees during the winter, you can save about 10% on the operating cost of your heater.
For additional ways to save, visit roseville.ca.us/lowermybill.
Are you worried about your holiday utility bill or stressing about how you can make changes this season? We are here to help! Saving water, conserving energy, reducing garbage, and stopping sewer clogs can be easy.
Now through December 23, we invite everyone to come visit the Utility Exploration Center’s “Home for the Holidays” displays and complete a family-friendly scavenger hunt. Every family who participates will receive a gift from our staff to immediately start saving at home. Gifts go fast, so hurry in before they disappear!
Also, take this survey and tell us how you’re “greening” at home during the holidays for a chance to win dinner out at a local restaurant!
Tis the season to be jolly, so don’t worry about utility bill folly!
Are your front yard leaves starting to pile up? Curbside leaf pickup is available through January 14. This free residential service is available throughout Roseville. Not only does it help keep storm drains clear, but it also protects debris from disturbing the sensitive ecology of our creeks.
Find out which pickup option is available in your neighborhood by visiting roseville.ca.us/LeafPickup.
From wrapping paper and shipping boxes to electronics and Christmas trees, recycling is a big part of the holiday season. Plan ahead and learn ways you can reduce your holiday waste with these helpful tips and recycling options.
