State of the City 2023
Mayor Bruce Houdesheldt will give the 2023 State of the City address at 9 a.m., Friday, August 25 at the Westfield Galleria Center Court.
The speech is open to the public. Free tickets are available.
The speech will not be live streamed however a recording will be available after the speech at roseville.ca.us/SOC2023.
Grow your startup business or nonprofit with Roseville Rising
Apply to join the next Roseville Rising cohort. This 12-week Roseville Venture Lab program powers innovation by equipping early-stage entrepreneurs with personalized insights to hone their business strategy and accelerate their growth.
Eligible applicants are startup enterprises and nonprofits making a social impact in the greater Sacramento region. Applicants must be less than 10 years old and have annual revenue under $1 million.
Local non-profits receive $604,766 in City grants
Twenty-seven non-profit organizations serving Roseville residents collectively received $604,766 this summer through the City of Roseville' competitive annual grant program.
The non-profit groups address a wide span of social needs including disability awareness, hunger, homelessness, and veterans’ needs. On July 11, the Roseville Grants Advisory Commission and representatives of the City Council presented checks to the 2023 grant recipients in a ceremony in the Roseville City Council Chambers.

Meter upgrades continue
Roseville Utilities has begun the full implementation phase of its meter upgrade project. This second phase of the project is expected to take 12-14 months to complete. The upgrade includes advanced meters, which wirelessly send readings and important service information to both our water and electric utilities.

Join the Youth Art Contest
You can help bring utilities to life by joining the Roseville Utilities Youth Art Contest - now through September 15. From electrifying superheroes to sewer pipe super villains, explore themes such as clean water delivery, sewer pipe management, energy-saving and waste collection.
Finalists will receive a $50 art supply gift card and their artwork in a 12-month calendar. Community choice winners receive a $100 gift card.
Pleasant Grove Creek Trail temporary closures
Construction is underway on Pleasant Grove Creek Trail connections. Closures and detours are in place until approximately September.
Washington & All America City Roundabout Project update
Construction continues on the roundabout. Travel with care in the work zone and watch for a new traffic pattern. Keep an eye on digital message boards for current information.
Serve your community on a board or commission
Roseville City Council is accepting applications from citizens 18 or older residing within the City limits of Roseville interested in serving on the following boards and committees:

Local Sales Tax Citizens' Advisory Committee (three vacancies)
Meetings are held once or twice a month. Members receive no compensation for their time, although they may attend training workshops or seminars at City expense.
The deadline to apply is 4 p.m., Friday, July 28.
Brief City phone system outage planned July 29
Please plan ahead for the City's main phone lines to be down during the hours of approximately 5 - 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, for a phone system upgrade.
911 and emergency lines will not be impacted.
The phone system upgrade has been scheduled for off business hours in effort to minimize impacts. We thank you for your patience.
