Help name a Roseville park!
We want your ideas to help us name three new parks. The City Clerk's office is currently accepting submissions for:
-
NC-57: A one acre fenced off-leash dog park located off of Antelope Creek Drive.
-
Gibson Park Site: A 13.33 acre park site located at Gibson Drive and Roseville Parkway near the Galleria.
-
Sports Complex: This is a 45 acre long field sports complex in West Roseville off of Westbrook and Brookstone Drives.
The deadline to submit is 3 p.m. Friday, July 29.
Roseville Aquatics Complex updates
We’ve got some good news and some bad news to share. First the bad news...due to staffing challenges, the Roseville Aquatics Complex (RAC) is no longer open on Sundays. But don’t worry because you can still swim 1-4 p.m. on Sundays at Mike Shellito Indoor Pool. New RAC hours for recreational swim are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1-4 p.m. & Saturdays 1-5 p.m.
Now for the good news…the slide at the RAC is open! The “Otter Run” takes you on a few twists and turns before you plunge into the water.
If you are interested in helping us out with our staffing challenges, we have a lifeguard training class coming up in July.
We want your ideas for a new universally accessible playground
We want to hear from you! We're planning a new Universally Accessible Playground in West Roseville and want to get feedback and input from the community. Please join us for a public meeting on Thursday, July 7, at 6 p.m. at Maidu Community Center.
Get creative for Roseville Utilities’ 2022 Youth Art Contest
We’re back and we want to see your artwork! Roseville Utilities’ Youth Art Contest has returned, and from now until August 5, we are giving youth in the area a chance to compete against each other and showcase their creativity and skills.
New for this year, we are expanding our age range to include artists up to 17 years old, highlighting four community choice winners of each age group, and presenting higher gift card amounts.
Visit roseville.ca.us/youthart for more information or download the flyer.
Take a virtual tour to learn where your trash goes
Do you ever wonder where your trash goes after it leaves your home? Each year, about 130,000 tons of waste is taken to the Materials Recovery Facility, known as the MRF, where it is sorted and prepared for recycling or taken to the landfill.
Make the switch to electric appliances
