The City of Roseville’s Miner’s Ravine Trail has been officially designated as a National Recreation Trail by the U.S. Department of the Interior. The announcement was made on National Trails Day, as part of a nationwide recognition of five trails across the United States.

Spanning 6.36 miles, the Miner’s Ravine Trail winds through scenic open space, preserved riparian corridors, and residential neighborhoods. It offers an accessible way for residents and visitors to connect with nature, exercise, or commute by foot or bicycle. Fireworks. Keep it safe. Keep it legal.

Penalties for illegal fireworks

Illegal fireworks carry many risks, including injury, property damage, safety of first responders, costs of responding to emergencies, environmental harm and legal consequences.

In May 2024, the Roseville City Council amended the municipal code, making penalties for those who use illegal fireworks much more severe.

Penalties for illegal fireworks include stiffer fines, more severe legal consequences, liability for the cost of emergency response and additional responsibility of property owners who knowingly allow the use or storage of illegal fireworks on their property, or the street or sidewalk adjacent to their property.
