In a national survey, Roseville residents rated their satisfaction with living in Roseville among the highest in the country in several key areas including as a place to live, utility infrastructure, city services and economic health.
Many of Roseville’s rankings in the National Community Survey were in the top 10 nationally and several were the best in the nation.

Homebuilding and affordable housing continue to be essential in California even as the State experiences a second consecutive dry year.

The 4th of July festivities are back! Kick off your celebration with the return of the Independence Day parade, starting at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Riverside/Vernon/Douglas.
Following the parade, head over to Royer Park for some carnival-style fun with live music, games and activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Then head to @The Grounds for the grand finale, including fireworks display, games and concessions. Gates open at 5 p.m. Fireworks begin between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Only Safe and Sane fireworks are legal in the City of Roseville. The legal sale of fireworks at designated booths begins at noon, June 28. Sales run through July 4 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day.
Remember, any firework that flies in the air, darts across the ground or explodes is considered illegal in California. If it doesn't have the California State Fire Marshal's seal on the packaging, it's illegal.
The legal time period for discharge of Safe and Sane fireworks is from 12 p.m. on June 28 through 11:59 p.m. on July 4.

The second draft of the City’s Housing Element is available for review. Have your voice heard on the future of the City’s housing policies and plans. Submit your comments by July 1.

Work is underway on sixty-five lane miles of arterial streets. Construction is expected to be complete by late fall. Keep an eye on digital message boards for current work dates and times in each area.

Overnight road closure scheduled for a portion of westbound Eureka Road
Westbound Eureka Road is scheduled to be closed from N. Sunrise to Taylor Road during the following times:
9 p.m. on Friday, June 25 to 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 26
9 p.m. on Saturday, June 26 to 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 27
Please use the detour or choose an alternate route. Crews will be performing bridge maintenance.
The schedule is subject to change due to weather, equipment and other unexpected conditions.

The week of June 28, traffic signals with flashing yellow left turn arrows will be activated at the following intersections:

Eastbound Baseline at Junction Boulevard;
-
Eastbound and westbound Junction at Country Club Drive;
-
Eastbound Junction at Revere Drive; and
-
Eastbound and westbound Junction at Sawtell Road/Porter Drive.
When the yellow arrow flashes, you are allowed to cautiously enter the intersection to make your turn after yielding to oncoming traffic, including pedestrians and bicyclists.
