Ready to Vote, Placer?
To expand in-person voting opportunities for eligible voters, the Placer County Elections Office has recently adopted the Voter’s Choice Act (VCA) election model.
Starting with the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election, Placer County voters are no longer assigned to a specific voting location; they can now visit any one of 29 regional vote centers located in the county.

Sensory Bunnies & Baskets this Saturday
You asked for it, we listened. Sensory Bunnies & Baskets is now available on the weekend! Join us for a delightful day of crafts with the Bunny this Saturday, March 9, at the Maidu Community Center. Sessions at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. or noon.
Kids can enjoy visiting with bunny while creating springtime crafts in an inclusive environment. Parent participation is required.

Construction begins on Pleasant Grove Boulevard Widening Project
Work on the long-planned Pleasant Grove Boulevard Widening Project begins this week.
The project will widen approximately 1.45 miles of roadway into the median, from Woodcreek Oaks to just east of the Foothills Boulevard intersection. Ultimately there will be three travel lanes in each direction to improve traffic flow.
Travel with care and keep an eye on digital message boards for current construction information.
