From Parks... "Our contractor will need to close the sidewalk on Holt between N. Hayden and the school from Wednesday 11/8 through Sunday 11/12 to work on the driveway for the parking lot on our project site. They have tried to schedule some of the work to occur on a non-school day (Veteran’s Day (observed)). They plan to open the sidewalk prior to school starting on Monday 11/13. New trail segment opens in downtown Roseville A new portion of trail is now open between Folsom Road and Lincoln Street. This trail connects the existing Miner's Ravine Trail from Sierra College Boulevard to Royer Park. With next year's completion of the Downtown Bridges & Trail Project, the trail will continue further through Royer Park and on to Darling Way. This will result in a continuous 6-mile off-street trail through Roseville.

Here is the information we just got from the city: If you did not know - the "real grass" died so all that was there were weeds. They plan to aerate the ground and insert nutrients where they killed the grass (weeds). On Wednesday (April 27) they will plant (not spray) seeds using a machine that cuts small grooves into the ground.
