Public Workshop, #2: F-56 Park Master Plan

Please be advised we are holding the second public workshop related to the F-56 Regional Park project. This will be a follow-up to the public workshop held on May 4th  and a review of the conceptual plan.

Public Workshop #2: F-56 Master Plan

Date: 6/29/17

Time: 6:30pm

Location: Mahany Park/Riley Conference Rooms, 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd, Roseville

BACKGROUND

The park, F-56, is a narrow, odd shaped site that has been earmarked to be a city-wide park site in West Roseville.  A creek is to the north, the future high school site is to the south and east, residential is on the south and West Park Drive is on the western edge.  The high school district has developed a site plan that includes joint use facilities.  Of particular interest to the school district is the baseball/softball complex slated for the southern portion of the site and shared.

To the north and dipping into a portion of F-56 is the proposed ten (long) field sports complex, a partnership between the Placer Valley Sports Complex group and the City.  Planning for the complex is underway.  The goal is to develop a premier, tournament level complex that would attract regional, state and national tournaments for long field sports.
