Although Santa lives in the North Pole, he doesn't want to risk getting sick before Christmas so all visits are weather permitting. The Roseville Police Department held its Annual Meeting of Neighborhood Watch Captains on January 27, 2015. Rob Baquera and Mary Helen Ivers shared updates on crime stats, crime prevention tips and security equipment to help deter home and auto break-ins, basic giving tips on charities, and warned of the latest Top 10 scams occurring in the area. On Tuesday, January 24, 2012, members from the Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (RCONA) were provided a tour of the Placer Food Bank hosted by Food Bank officials Troy Kuhn, Alan Osterstock, and Mary Towne.
