Ground-based Adulticide Treatment Tomorrow

What: Ground-based adult mosquito treatment
Where: Blue Oaks Neighborhood of Roseville
When: Tomorrow, July 15, 2022 between 3:30a.m and 6:00 a.m.
Why: West Nile virus positive mosquitoes 
 
The Pleasant Creek Grove Trail is scheduled for ground-based adulticide treatments due to West Nile virus positive mosquitoes. An EPA-approved mosquito adulticide will be applied in an ultra-low volume fog by truck to target adult mosquitoes.  Residents are advised to avoid using the trail during the treatment period.  

Since several factors, including weather conditions, affect treatment activities, the District encourages Placer residents to check the District website for any changes to the treatment schedule and accompanying maps of the planned treatment areas.
