UEC Field Trip

High School students uncover the hidden world of utilities

About 40 high school students participated in Roseville Utilities Field Day this spring to learn about keeping city services running and get a hands-on look at careers within utilities.

During this event, students had the opportunity to visit four utility sites encompassing various aspects of Roseville's utility infrastructure, interacting with workers responsible for power supply, waste transportation, and water and wastewater.

Live music, food and fun at Concerts on the Square!

State of the City Banner (no date listed)

State of the City 2023

Mayor Bruce Houdesheldt will give the 2023 State of the City address at 9 a.m., Friday, August 25 at the Westfield Galleria Center Court.

The speech is open to the public. Free tickets are available.

The speech will not be live streamed however a recording will be available after the speech at roseville.ca.us/SOC2023.

Washington, All America city roundabout construction

Washington and All America City Roundabout Project update 

All America City Boulevard is closed between Niles and Washington to expedite work on this area of the project.

Construction will continue with the existing traffic pattern on the east side of Washington Boulevard at the All America City Boulevard intersection.

Travel with care and keep an eye on digital message boards for current construction information.

Safety cones in street

Overnight Baseline Road work and lane closures 

Through Thursday, August 17, road work will partially close Baseline Road between Fiddyment Road and Westbrook Boulevard. Construction will occur 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and traffic will be reduced to a single lane.

Drive with care and be on the lookout for construction personnel who will assist you in traveling through the work zone. Please allow extra travel time.

Resurfacing streets

Upcoming resurfacing and curb ramp improvements 

Road resurfacing on Blue Oaks Boulevard will continue near the end of summer and through early fall. This routine maintenance includes adding a wearing layer over the road surface.

Curb ramp improvements are ongoing in the Sun City neighborhood starting late summer, with completion in spring 2024. These updates are required by law in advance of road resurfacing. Phased resurfacing is continuing in August in Sun City and will go through the end of 2023. Another phase will occur in 2024.

Be on the lookout for digital message boards for up-to-date work dates and times.

Trail

Resurfacing on Roseville’s trails 

Starting in August, resurfacing is scheduled on Miner’s Ravine Trail, Antelope Creek Trail, and False Ravine Trail. Construction will take place 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Watch for signs and barricades marking temporary trail closures. Please choose an alternate route.

The Fiddyment Farm Neighborhood Association is NOT an HOA and there are no fees or dues. We are here to:

  • Provide an open forum through which all members of the neighborhoods can participate in the identity, social culture, growth, development, and activities of the neighborhoods.
  • Identify and communicate the issues and concerns of the Association members to the Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations, the City of Roseville, and other appropriate entities.
  • Keep all members of the neighborhoods informed regarding issues vital, or of interest, to the well-being of the neighborhoods.
  • Encourage and facilitate communication and cohesiveness among all the people of the neighborhoods. To act in cooperation with government and non-government agencies to preserve and improve peace, safety and property values in the neighborhoods.
