Supporting small businesses strengthens Roseville's economy

Small businesses are the backbone of our community and economy. More than 5,100 of small businesses provide over 40 percent of local jobs and employ nearly 37,000 people. Our local retailers, service providers, and family-owned shops define our community’s character and keep revenue right here at home.

Supporting small businesses means investing in neighbors, creating jobs, and strengthening Roseville’s economic health.

Innovate. Grow. Succeed.

Work planned for Atlantic and Vernon Street S-curve project to improve traffic

Work on the Atlantic and Vernon Street S-curve, between Lincoln and Yosemite Street, is expected to start this winter to improve traffic flow and safety.

Project updates include adding lighted pedestrian crossings to enhance safety, reducing lanes to slow vehicle speeds, installing green bike lanes for better visibility, and constructing landscaped medians. In addition, left turns will be limited at smaller intersections to help reduce collisions.

Light up your holiday savings

Give yourself a whole watt to be merry about this holiday season and switch to LED holiday light strands. They consume about 75 percent less energy than conventional incandescent light strands and they last longer too. They’re also safer, sturdier, longer lasting, and easier to install.

The quiet work that makes every drop count

Every day, Roseville’s utility systems keep the city running. Water moves through pipes and treatment plants, wastewater is cleaned and returned to the environment, and solid waste is collected, sorted, and recycled. It all works because teams across our utilities plan ahead, pay attention to the details, and care about doing the job right.

Most of the city’s most important work happens underground, unnoticed, and that is the point. It keeps water safe, wastewater moving, and daily life uninterrupted. Learn more about Roseville’s engineers, planners, and field crews, who support dependable services every day.
