Roseville Police and Fire would love to help you celebrate America's night out against crime on Tuesday, August 2.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Host an event and we'll help you celebrate.
We’ve got some good news and some bad news to share. First the bad news...due to staffing challenges, the Roseville Aquatics Complex (RAC) is no longer open on Sundays. But don’t worry because you can still swim 1-4 p.m. on Sundays at Mike Shellito Indoor Pool. New RAC hours for recreational swim are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1-4 p.m. & Saturdays 1-5 p.m.
Now for the good news…the slide at the RAC is open! The “Otter Run” takes you on a few twists and turns before you plunge into the water.
If you are interested in helping us out with our staffing challenges, we have a lifeguard training class coming up in July.
We want your ideas for a new universally accessible playground
We want to hear from you! We're planning a new Universally Accessible Playground in West Roseville and want to get feedback and input from the community. Please join us for a public meeting on Thursday, July 7, at 6 p.m. at Maidu Community Center.
Get creative for Roseville Utilities’ 2022 Youth Art Contest
We’re back and we want to see your artwork! Roseville Utilities’ Youth Art Contest has returned, and from now until August 5, we are giving youth in the area a chance to compete against each other and showcase their creativity and skills.
New for this year, we are expanding our age range to include artists up to 17 years old, highlighting four community choice winners of each age group, and presenting higher gift card amounts.
Take a virtual tour to learn where your trash goes
Do you ever wonder where your trash goes after it leaves your home? Each year, about 130,000 tons of waste is taken to the Materials Recovery Facility, known as the MRF, where it is sorted and prepared for recycling or taken to the landfill.
Do you have a water heater or HVAC unit near the end of its life? Or perhaps a kitchen remodel on the horizon? If so, now is a great time to start thinking about switching to electric appliances.
Roseville Electric Utility has rebates available for heat pump HVAC systems, heat pump water heaters, induction stoves, electric vehicles, and more. Plus, we have experts available to answer your questions.
Plug-in to the resources you need to make the switch, including a qualified list of contractors by visiting roseville.ca.us/plugin. Or call our Trusted Advisors today at (916) 79-POWER.
Ride unlimited through August 31 on Roseville Transit, Placer County Transit and Auburn Transit bus routes with the $10 Summer Youth Bus Pass. Don’t let gas prices stop you from getting where you need to go. Transit is an affordable and clean way to travel to summer jobs, the mall, and other popular destinations.
Watch for road resurfacing happening around Roseville. Construction will continue through fall. Keep an eye on digital message boards for current dates and times for each work area. Hours vary by location and are scheduled to minimize disruption to traffic and residents.
Stay alert and travel with care when you see crews at work.
