More than trucks: Celebrating 10 years of community, teamwork, and utility pride

For the past 10 years, Big Trucks Summer has been about much more than trucks. It has become one of Roseville's most recognizable summer traditions, bringing together thousands of residents each year to meet the people, equipment, and services that help keep the city running every day.

Along the way, it has created lasting memories, strengthened community connections, and highlighted the pride utility employees take in serving Roseville.

More ways to participate in Roseville City Council meetings are on the way

Starting in July, Roseville residents can attend and participate in City Council meetings via a Teams link consistent with a new state law that updates the Ralph M. Brown Act. This law is designed to make City Council meetings more accessible, transparent, and inclusive for everyone in the community and encourage broader community participation.

road resurfacing

Junction Boulevard and Fairway Drive road resurfacing update

Crews are continuing work to improve road durability and traction. The surface will appear coarse, and some loose gravel may shed as it cures. This is normal and will lessen over time.

After curing, a sealant made of sand and oil will be applied. Please check shoes before going indoors. As this layer cures, loose sand and gravel will shed from the roadway. This is also normal and will lessen over time.

Expect occasional rolling lane closures in the coming weeks. Watch for flashing red signals and flaggers. If no flaggers are present, treat flashing red as an all‑way stop. Travel with care in the work zone.

Resurfacing is expected to be complete by late summer.
