Come out and join us as we celebrate our Veterans this week. First up, is our family friendly event, Honoring Veterans, this Thursday, November 9 at 5 p.m. in Vernon Street Town Square. Enjoy kids' activities, meet military representatives, listen to live music and try delicious food trucks (discount with military ID)! Care package donations are appreciated.
Then, reflect on the spirit of service of our Veterans on November 11 at the unveiling of our newest art piece "Remembrance" at Veterans Memorial Park North at 2 p.m.
And, don’t miss videos highlighting our City of Roseville staff who are also military Veterans on our social media channels.
Be part of our Downtown Holiday Celebration in two ways. Get your very own tree in our Tree Grove on November 29 in Vernon Street Town Square. Decorate it and showcase your holiday spirit to highlight your school, business or organization.
Then, grab your friends, family or co-workers and get creative with our Gingerbread House Contest. There are three categories for you to enter your sweet masterpiece. The entries will be displayed at our building at 316 Vernon Street from November 29 to December 8 for everyone to vote and enjoy.
Whether you're stringing up twinkling lights, adorning your evergreen with ornaments, enjoying the company of loved ones, exchanging gifts, or maybe even doing all the above, let's not forget that recycling can bring an extra dose of holiday cheer while helping reduce the waste pile.
We're sharing a few jolly ways to recycle and keep our landfills merry and bright during the holiday season.
Please plan ahead for the City's main phone lines to be down during the hours of approximately 5 - 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, for a phone system upgrade. 911 and emergency lines will not be impacted.
The phone system upgrade has been scheduled for off business hours in effort to minimize impacts. We thank you for your patience.
