On Saturday, April 7, 2012, WFFNA held its 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Festersen Park! It was well attended by over 165 registered children and their accompanying parents and relatives. The children enjoyed frosting mini-cupcakes, coloring Easter Bunny Bags, an Egg Relay Race, and scrambled for candy as a piñata broke. WestPark-Fiddyment Farm Neighborhood Association will hold its 2nd Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale Fundraiser event on Saturday, May 12, 2012. The advertised time posted will be 9:00 AM through 2:30 PM. Both WFFNA and its participants last year were very pleased with their results. It provides an opportunity for the residents to recycle unwanted items while raising funds for future neighborhood events. On Tuesday, January 24, 2012, members from the Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (RCONA) were provided a tour of the Placer Food Bank hosted by Food Bank officials Troy Kuhn, Alan Osterstock, and Mary Towne.
