Sites Reservoir project receives the green light for construction

The Sites Reservoir project—a crucial initiative contributing to California's water infrastructure—is one step closer to construction following recent certification of the Final Environmental Impact Report. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2025.

Roseville stands to benefit indirectly from the 1.8 million acre-feet storage capacity  as the Sites Reservoir introduces a substantial water source that can be channeled into the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, reducing dependence on existing water storage facilities like Folsom Lake.

Succulents for Soups program extended until December 16

Do you have surplus canned goods and non-perishables in your pantry? Seize the opportunity to contribute, donate, and receive succulents as part of the ongoing Succulents for Soups initiative by Roseville Environmental Utilities.

We’ve extended the food drive until December 16 (no donations accepted on December 10 and 11). You can contribute non-perishable food items between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Utility Exploration Center (1501 Pleasant Grove Boulevard) and receive a complimentary succulent.

Already, we have filled more than six large donation bins, but we aspire to surpass expectations and collect even more goods! All collected food will be generously donated to the Roseville St. Vincent de Paul Society, a prominent local organization combating hunger and food insecurity.
